Get ready for an afternoon of Blues storytelling as our stage is graced by Delta Deb & The Southern Gentleman.
Debi Candlish grew up in the foothills of North Carolina, USA – surrounded by Delta and Piedmont blues. Accompanied by phenomenally skilled blues harpist Allan Reddaway, she combines the soulful stories of traditional blues & roots tunes like “Walkin’ Blues” and “Rollin’ and Tumblin’” with award-winning originals and blow-your-hair-back, stomping, sliding swamp grooves to deliver an authentic Delta Blues experience that traverses the 1920s to present day,
Supported by TCMC’s own Mark Hillman with an opening set of improvised instrumental blues.
